It’s the time of the year again, when we take stock of where we are in our lives and careers, or take a vacation for that much needed rest. Its also the right time to get a comprehensive Health Screen done. After all, we send our cars for servicing or tuning every 10 or 15 thousand kilometers. How much more then, we should make that effort to get our bodies checked out and make sure our physical selves are also in tip-top condition for the challenging new year ahead.
The rationale for Health Screening is to detect the tendency to develop serious illnesses BEFORE the illness becomes full-blown and the person becomes very ill. Treatment of the pre-disease (i.e. the risk factors which would lead to the disease proper) or the disease at an early stage usually leads to better outcomes such as higher cure rates, lower complications, less pain/discomfort and lower medical fees.
The Clinic has various Health Screen packages. These are: Classic, Value, Comprehensive (Men), Comprehensive (Women), and Healthy Heart Screen. The appropriate X-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds, pap smears can also be done/arranged for.
